In 2019 I completed a 12-month Studio Internship at End Clothing whilst in my third year of University. This experience truly provided me with so much industry knowledge and skill, that really primed and shaped me in the fashion graduate that I am now. I had the chance to work with a plethora of huge brands daily, including Yves Saint Laurent, Dior, Balenciaga, Stussy, Carhartt, Nike/Nike ACG, Acne Studios, A.C.W* and many more. It ranged from high-end fashion to street style and culture.
During this time I assisted on numerous shoots ranging from streetwear, homeware, grooming, high-end, tech-wear and womenswear (including occasionally stepping on-set to model when needed too).  The main responsibilities for this role were to aid the editorial team in scouting locations for potential shoots, assisting the stylist team with cross-sells's and online up-sells using Magento, I also prepped clothes for being on set and would sometimes dress the model on-set working with the photography team.
Time behind the scenes during this internship allowed me to see through every aspect of a studio campaign from start to finish, therefore the insight gained from this was immense and when I returned to university to complete my final year, my confidence soared. Following the internship, my workability, determination and understanding of the industry is of a much higher level. I also think this has been portrayed in my final year work and ultimately the securing of a first-class honours degree, something that I worked really hard for as beforehand I had thought it was out of reach.
